Although not overnight, the goal for our work together is to create real, positive change and transformation in your life. I’ll be guiding you toward helpful practices you can implement.

How you’ll feel

You’ll begin to feel
more BALANCED and clearheaded, gaining REAL TOOLS & Daily Coping skills leading to a fuller, more harmonious life.

Counseling is for anyone seeking positive change and a more balanced life. I believe that balancing all areas of our lives boosts our confidence.

Many people think counseling isn't for them if they haven't faced significant loss or trauma. Similarly, those who have experienced trauma might worry that counseling could exacerbate their issues or feel they're managing just fine. I see it differently. I believe counseling can positively impact anyone, no matter how minor or significant their challenges might seem, helping bring balance to their lives. It can be tough to face these issues, but my goal is to create a safe and supportive environment for you to open up and seek the help you desire. Trained in various disciplines, I don’t assume one method fits all; I tailor my approach to suit you personally as we uncover what works best together.

Every individual is unique and deserves a personalized approach to their well-being.

FAQs

How often do we meet?

Typically, we start with weekly sessions to establish a solid foundation for our work together. However, the frequency of our meetings can be tailored to your specific needs and circumstances. We'll decide together what schedule best supports your journey.

How would we come to make this decision?

When we begin our sessions and start to discuss what has brought you to therapy, we will assess the frequency that suits you best. Each individual and couple brings unique needs to the therapeutic process. By understanding your specific requirements, we start to build our relationship and create an environment that supports you in discovering your best self.

How many sessions do I need?

That's a great question. Unfortunately, there isn't a one-size-fits-all answer, as the journey to personal growth is unique for everyone. Building lasting changes is a process that requires flexibility and patience. We'll work together to tailor the pace and number of sessions to your individual needs.

How does billing work with insurance?

I handle insurance billing directly through my billing accountant. You'll receive a monthly statement showing your balance, and we can assist you in understanding your deductible and co-pay amounts for each session. Each month, you will receive both a paper bill and a digital invoice via Square.

Can I use my HSA to pay for co-pays and deductibles?

Yes, you can use your Health Savings Account (HSA) funds to cover any balance that you have.

What if I need to cancel?

You must cancel within a 24-hour window prior to your appointment. If you do not cancel within that 24-hour window you will be charged for the missed appointment. Insurance cannot be billed for that missed appointment.

Can I bring in my partner or family members to sessions?

Absolutely. Bringing your partner or family members into a session can be very beneficial, as it allows for different perspectives and assistance in discussing specific issues. However, please note that this won't be a regular feature of our sessions. If we find that exploring these dynamics further would be helpful, I will refer you to another professional so that you can continue that work together.
